The Guilford Preservation Alliance held its Twenty-third Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 7:30 pm in the Guilford Community Center. Each year awards are given to individuals and groups who have made significant contributions toward preserving the cultural, architectural, and historic heritage of Guilford.
The Award of Merit is given to commend the sensitive restoration or creative re-use of an existing building or structure of historical or architecturally significance or for a new building demonstrating particular sensitivity to its surroundings. The 2003 Awards of Merit were presented to:
